This week we are asking you to take your own steps to be sustainable. To help make it easy we are going to detail exactly what you need to do.

No StrawsRefuse plastic straws for every beverage you order this week. You can survive one week without a straw, trust me! Refuse them at the bar, at the diner, to mix your coffee.Approximately 500 million straws enter the ocean each day. That is from the U.S. alone.
MeditateMeditate at least 5 minutes each day. Simply find a comfortable place to sit and take some deep breaths. Focus inward and calm your spirit.
  • Reduced Stress
  • Better Sleep
  • Improved Immunity
  • Enhanced Mood
Grab Your ToteConsciously bring your re-usable grocery bags with you every time you go to the store. If you forget, turn around and get it. Its one week of extra effort. You can do it!Less debris in our water system.  Half a trillion plastic bags are used each year. They never completely biodegrade.
Tell a FriendTell a friend about what you are doing this week and have them join you. It always helps to have a partner to motivate us.
  • Be held accountable
  • Push your limits
  • Get friendly reminders
  • Compete

It is only one week, friends. What we are asking is very attainable. We have not asked anyone to do something beyond what is reasonable and not already part of everyone’s regular week. Our aim is to get you thinking about your sustainable actions.
