Buy B Corps

A big part of my hope for Live to Sustain is that we can have a positive impact on peoples purchase habits. I want to promote companies that are interested in making the world better. This is why I buy B Corps.

Taken directly from the B Corporation website https://www.bcorporation.net/what-are-b-corps, here is the definition of what a B Corp is: "B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency". Also mentioned on their website is the fact that there are currently over 2,000 certified B Corps worldwide. There is tremendous value in having respect for people and plant. More companies should pursue the B Corp business model.

You may be surprised to know that some of your favorite brands are Certified B Corps. Popular brands include TOMS shoes, Warby Parker and Patagonia. These companies give back to people and planet when we buy their products. I love getting behind companies like these. They demonstrate that success in business is also about how well we can give back.
