In Italy, the Cinque Terre is a famous string of five historic seaside villages known for their colorful charm and stunning sea vistas. While we don't have centuries-old towns here in Southern California, we do have great vegan food! Not just restaurants, these are creative hubs and gathering spaces for those living an eco-conscious lifestyle. Want to try the "Cinque Vege-Tarian" Challenge? Try all five restaurants in one day for the ultimate vegan experience:

1. Starting with the northernmost spot, check out Eve Encinitas for breakfast.

3. Trilogy Sanctuary in La Jolla features a rooftop cafe and offers aerial yoga and other classes. How good does this cauliflower crust pesto pizza look?

4. Sipz Vegetarian Fusion Cafe in Clairemont serves up vegan sushi and other tasty Asian fusion dishes like Thai curry and vegetarian pho.
