The Big News
I have some exciting news to share! This past April I graduated from the doctorate program at Pacific College, and have earned the title of Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. I also recently passed my licensing exams and am officially licensed to practice acupuncture. I'm excited to begin my career as a doctor, and look forward to helping patients become their healthiest selves.

It's been a long journey to get to this moment, and there is so much that I want to share with you about what I've learned. I've spent the past four years immersed in the fascinating world of Chinese Medicine. I've been studying anatomy and physiology, herbology, biochemistry, ancient Chinese philosophy and so much more. I've worked closely with the human body, and learned to attune my senses to the subtle cues of health and disease. I've had the tremendous privilege of working with patients in the clinic, and supporting them in their healing. I look forward to honing my skills for many years to come, and continuing my explorations into these captivating subjects.

What's Next?
I plan to begin practicing acupuncture in San Diego this fall. I don't have any official plans yet, but I will be sure to keep you all posted. I would prefer to work with another practitioner for a couple of years before starting my own practice so that I can focus on treating patients and not worry about running a business, but we shall see what happens. Let me know if you hear of any opportunities!

I have the privilege of taking some time off this summer to be a full-time mom to my one year old baby Hawthorn. I am so grateful to be able to slow down and soak up this time with my sweet baby boy. Currently, Adam, Hawthorn and I are spending some time at Gingerhawk Retreat in Washington state, and will return to San Diego in June.

Last But Not Least...
And lastly, I want to give a shout out to my amazing mama, who has supported me every step of the way. Even when she is skeptical about my choices or worried about my future, she always has my back. I couldn't have done this without her - especially the last few months before my licensing exams when she watched the baby so I could focus on studying. Thank you mama - I am forever grateful for your love and support!
